Bloody hell mate, although par for the course with that gaff, went there a few times when I was a pup and it was never for the faint hearted. Funny but no matter how much time passes, the word is it's still a trouble pub.

Not sure about the Tiger?

Used to drink in The Cumberland, The Albert, both gone, Coach & Horses was the first pub I had a beer in, went years ago. Still pop in the Alex, bit to be honest though I don't go back that often, just to see some of the boys now and again.

Is there a rougher pub in the world than the Beckton Arms?

The duke on avinons road close a couple of years back, the golden lion closed also and there was on other...want to say the tiger.

I recently conducted an experiment to see what coffee place did the best flat white. Tried about 15 in my area, including trendy organic boutique ones populated by ppeople with big beards and tattoos. Starbucks was best by a mile.

Used to drink in the snooker hall opposite, always quiet and a good little meet up without being spotted before taking a walk down to the tube

Living in Hackney, I'm legally bound to only drink Climpsons coffee.....

Son, you're a leader of the working class, eh?
Pubs made for peasants who graft all week making others rich, and then get slaughtered on a Friday and Saturday.
The biggest traps of the ruling classes made for people like you.

Re: Duke of Edinburgh
You can only be considered proper west ham if you've played pool in the duke.. i am in that category

However to be considered Elite West Ham you have had to have been in the duke at closing time.

I am in the elite!

I see you have no taste in coffee either if you like that milk bucket slop sold by Starbucks.
